Quality Control Engineer

In defense industry projects, the Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Planning, coordinating, executing, improving, and verifying project quality management activities to ensure customer requirements are met and products are delivered with the highest quality standards; monitoring testing and inspection activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Establishing and maintaining communication with the customer’s quality representatives; participating in acceptance inspections, qualification processes, and delivery activities

  • Monitoring non-conformities identified during procurement and acceptance processes, collecting customer feedback, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence

  • Monitoring and documenting incoming, in-process, and final quality control activities

  • Tracking and ensuring the calibration of measurement and test equipment

  • Prepare cutting tools according to the required dimensions and holders for machining operations

  • Ensure the organized and proper use of all tools and equipment in the tool room

  • Monitor and track the sharpening process of cutting tools

  • Perform sharpening operations for drills and milling tools within the tool room

  • Record all materials entering and leaving the tool room in the system

  • Track and control the inventory of tools, holders, and inserts

  • Create tool requests when needed and ensure timely supply

  • Conduct periodic inventory counts of materials and equipment in the tool room
