R&D Center

The Logos Kimya R&D Center conducts comprehensive research activities in fundamental research, new product development, and the improvement of existing products. We also engage in joint product development projects with our clients. Currently, we are working on around ten R&D projects, many of which are supported by TÜBİTAK. In these projects, we collaborate closely with Turkey’s leading universities, fostering a strong university-industry partnership, and ensuring the successful commercialization of our innovations.

Our R&D projects stem from the technological development needs emerging from Turkey’s advancements in the defense and aerospace industries. Logos Kimya conducts its product development processes within a total systems engineering framework, considering the phases defined in the ISO/IEC 15288 standard, including conceptual design, product development, production, usage, support, and retirement. In the conceptual design phase, solution proposals are offered by taking into account the stakeholders' needs and usage concepts. In the subsequent product development stages, we meticulously refine system requirements, define the solution, create the system architecture, and perform system verification and validation.

With this approach, our R&D center selects projects to develop new products, technologies, and processes. The outputs of our projects are shared through oral presentations at various conferences and published as articles in scientific journals.

The Logos Kimya R&D Center operates with more than 30 personnel, and we manage our R&D business processes by adopting the requirements of the AS9100 quality management system. Additionally, we have been certified in the Design category through the EYDEP evaluation.
